Parent Empowerment
I was honored to be invited to introduce Gov. Abbott at the Parent Empowerment rally in Conroe, TX. I was also happy to support the SBOE removing opposition to School Choice from our own legislative priorities. I support a parent's right to choose the best education for their child.
No Democrat Chairs
The SBOE has committees with chairs and vice chairs. When selecting these positions, the SBOE chose to fall in line with the Republican grassroots by positioning only Republicans to chair these committees.
Stop Sexualizing Texas Kids
I am proud to serve as Chair of the Committee on Instruction. From this position I have influence on library standards, instructional materials, rules for HB900, etc... I work very closely with constituents who are focused on protecting our children in the schools.
